In this tutorial series we will be discussing the use of Nuke particles for the use of crowd or element duplication. We will begin with a brief introduction into the use of Nuke particles, followed by three examples of this technique used under different circumstances. We will also be covering some of the new and improved tools available in Nuke7, as that is the version of the software I will be using to demonstrate this particle technique. Once all 4 parts are online, I will be supplying the work files for the series that will be available for download at http://www.Adriansvfx.com

In this part we will be using Nuke particles to generate a flurry of bullet hits on my apartment wall. We will also discuss the use of the new and improved model builder node in Nuke7, and demonstrate its use. Once all 4 parts are online, I will be supplying the work files for the series that will be available for download at http://www.Adriansvfx.com

In this part we will be using Nuke particles to generate a forest extension atop my cats scratching post. We will also be discussing the use of the point cloud generator for the use of generating geometry for cast shadows. In conjunction with this, we will be demonstrating the use of the nuke lighting system to generate a shadow matte from the particles we will generate. Once all 4 parts are online, I will be supplying the work files for the series that will be available for download at http://www.Adriansvfx.com

In this part we will be using Nuke particles to generate a crowd standing and waiting for public transit. I will also present a larger example of this technique working in production. I am having a tough time finding a site that will host my 7 gig work files, but when they are uploaded , they will be found here http://adriansvfx.com/particle-crowd-duplication/
